Volunteers are needed for so many things.

Think you can't volunteer because you work...think again!

Lamarque Elementary is a Five Star school.

Volunteers are needed by the school, the PTO, the teachers, and the children. We have opportunities before, during and after school, as well as some evenings. A few examples are the school store, making copies, and helping the teachers. Look below for a detailed list and description of the volunteer opportunities we have available.

All PALS volunteers must be approved. This requires a yearly application/reapplication.
Parents and volunteers can apply at the front office on the PALS computer.

PTO Volunteer Opportunities:

The PALS Committee would like to inform you of the following events/clubs that are
planned for this 2007/2008 PTO school year. We want to make it convenient
for you to volunteer. Volunteers are needed more today than ever!!

Volunteering During School Hours:

Media Center Assistant	shelving books
Cafeteria Assistant	help students during lunch hours
Clip, Cut, Count for Teachers	teachers work needed that day
Bulletin Board Committee	take down teachers bulletin boards
Reading or Math Tutor	working one on one with students
Homeroom Team Parent	aka homeroom parent
Nurse's Assistant (height/weight)	help nurse on specific day
Book Fair - October & May	Karynne Muncy - Chairperson
